In Nils Nova’s artist’s book Screens the viewer zaps their way through Nova’s TV programme of pop, soap, advertisements, screen static, intermissions, etc. Fittingly, the hardcover derives from the decades-long prevailing TV format of 4:3, so that the cloth-bound casing re-adopts the form of the cathode-ray tube. A book to be leafed through like a television set – printed and embellished by Heller Druck.
